Yay! Nicole Kidman is a redhead again, she looks so much better like this than as a washed out blonde, don’t you think? Here she is in a cute little pink ruffled number at a special screening of “Nine”, a new musical out with Daniel Day-Lewis, Fergie, Marion Cotillard, Penélope Cruz, Judi Dench, Kate Hudson, and Sophia Loren. With a cast like that, they could sing “I’m a Little Teapot” and it would be good. Here’s the story behind the musical:

Nine tells the story of Guido Contini (Daniel Day-Lewis), a world famous film director as he confronts an epic mid-life crisis with both creative and personal problems. He must balance the many women of his life, including his wife (Marion Cotillard), his mistress (Penelope Cruz), his film star muse (Nicole Kidman), his confidant and costume designer (Judi Dench), an American fashion journalist (Kate Hudson), the whore from his youth (Fergie) and his mother (Sophia Loren).

Lil Wayne’s ‘Rebirth’ Has Been—You Guessed It—Pushed Back Again

Lil Wayne’s Rebirth is apparently so not “on fire” that—sigh—it’s been pushed back yet again. Entertainment Weekly’s Music Mix notes that Weezy’s supposed set of rock jams is now coming out at some point next year.

Last month Rebirth got a slight release-date bump from December 15 to December 21. Initially the album was set to drop this past April. Actually, it feels like the album was supposed to be out at some point during every month this year.

Billboard notes that Cash Money label boss Brian “Birdman” Williams recently fired off a tweet saying Rebirth will see the light of day on February 1, 2010. There’s no confirmation of that date being set in stone—though, really, like it would matter if it was.

On the flip side, Young Money’s debut We Are Young Money—which was originally set to be double-packaged with Wayne’s Rebirth—is still set for a December 21 release, says Birdman.

Jennifer Hudson shows photos of 4 month-old son, David, on Oprah

Jennifer Hudson was on Oprah on Monday’s very special Christmas music special. She performed “Silent Night” along with Sugarland and then sat down for a moment with Oprah to talk about her plans for Christmas. Hudson will be celebrating her first Christmas with her four month-old son, David. She told Oprah that she’s going to go “all out” this Christmas for David, and shared two photos of her adorable son. David looks so sweet and aware and you could hear the audience go “aww” when the pictures were shown on the monitor.

“I’m gonna go crazy, [this Christmas]” she told Oprah Winfrey on her show Monday after proudly sharing new pictures of the 4-month-old bundle of joy. “He’s very aware, but he’s young and it’s his first Christmas, so you have to go all out.”
All out indeed.

“I kind of want to bring him his own Santa Claus and have a toy store in the house, full of things,” said Jennifer. “It’s my warm-up, though, for the years to come, when he’s older and he can enjoy it.”

Little David is Hudson’s first child with her fiance, reality show contestant and Harvard law graduate, David Otunga. Incidentally, Otunga is currently wrestling for Florida Championship Wrestling under the name Dawson Alexander.

Hudson went through a devastating personal tragedy in late 2008 when her mother, brother and nephew were murdered in Chicago. It looks like she has a lot of love and sweetness in her life with her new son and buff fiance.

Nicole Richie Coming to a Television Set Near You

Nicole Richie has announced that she’s signed a deal with ABC to star in and produce a 30-minute comedy series. Nicole, once mostly famous for her Hollywood connections, has more recently made a name for herself with her House of Harlow 1960 accessories line. She also authored a book which was to be made into a television series and now, she’s adding acting –beyond the occasional guest appearance — to her repertoire.

The show is being written by 30 Rock’s Daisy Gardner — anything 30 Rock-related shows promise — and features a plot that, in the words of Nicole, “revolves around a young, modern and professional woman who must balance her business and family relationships. She must deal with, and navigate the many ideas of what a woman’s role is: modern vs. traditional.” I gave my husband Cheerios for dinner last night — What? He got a holiday dinner just four days prior! — so this show sounds right up my alley.

The pilot should be filmed in the spring, and provided ABC likes what they see, this new program could be part of the fall 2010 lineup.

What are the odds that Rachel Uchitel, the woman who was supposedly having an affair with Tiger Woods, would have been involved with a married man before? I’m speechless - next I’ll be finding out that David Hasselhoff has a drinking problem!

Star magazine reported last month that Uchitel was involved with Bones actor David Boreanaz - while his wife was pregnant.

The affair allegedly had been going on for months, right up until Boreanaz’ wife Jamie gave birth in late August. But that’s not the worst part - if Star magazine is to be believed (and why not - space aliens can give birth to chimpanzees, right?) Boreanaz was texting Uchitel while his wife was giving birth. “He was on the phone with Rachel, giving updates,” said a source, who added that even Uchitel was turned off by this behavior. “That grossed [Rachel] out, because she felt that should have been private.”

Wow - was he hoping she’d hop on over and bring a baby gift and help him cut the cord?

Our spies saw her security crew snatch the mobile phone of Cobra Starship lead singer Gabe Saporta, who was spinning records and left the deejay booth to take pictures of Lohan, who was hanging out with brother Michael Jr. at Hudson Terrace the other night.

A source said, “The security team didn’t care that he was the deejay. They went up to Gabe, took his camera and erased all of his pictures to make sure there were none of her drinking or looking like she was having too much fun.” Lohan left about 3 a.m.

R&B star Chris Brown to be interviewed on ‘20/20′

ABC says Chris Brown will appear on its “20/20″ newsmagazine Dec. 11.

In what’s billed as an in-depth interview, the singer will discuss his assault of ex-girlfriend and recording superstar Rihanna in February. He is on probation for the beating.

Robin Roberts, anchor of ABC’s “Good Morning America,” conducts the interview. It was taped last weekend.

ABC spokesman Jeffrey Schneider says clips may also air on “Good Morning America.” He says Brown will not perform live.

Brown is scheduled to release his album “Graffiti” on Dec. 8. He has previously spoken about the attack on MTV News and “Larry King Live.”

Rihanna was interviewed this month by ABC’s Diane Sawyer.

Obama Girl in Red Coat is Wang Zifei (PHOTOS)

During his Asian trip last week, U.S. President Barack Obama shook hands with MBA student Wang Zifei at a town hall meeting at the Museum of Science and Technology in Shanghai on November 16, 2009 – see photo below.

The same attractive woman, who attends Shanghai’s Jiaotong University, happened to sit behind Obama during the event and photographers had a field day, snapping pictures that are now in high demand in China and beyond.

Zifei, who was initially put off by all of the buzz surrounding her identity, has since broken her silence in order to dispel rumors that she was seeking self-promotion by sitting in the prominent seat while wearing the flashy red coat – check it out here.

During his town hall speech before a crowd of 400 college students, Obama spoke about freedom of speech and religion. Zifei can be seen in the background.

'DWTS' Judge Carrie Ann Inaba Headed for Surgery

According to a report, "Dancing with the Stars" judge Carrie Ann Inaba will undergo surgery Wednesday. People magazine reports that the morning after the big "DWTS" finale in which Donny Osmond was crowned champion, Carrie Ann will have surgery in Los Angeles to treat spinal stenosis. "I have arthritis. The space around my spinal cord has become compressed," Carrie Ann told People. "I have been locked. My neck was so stiff. We're hoping this procedure will relieve that." Carrie Ann told People that she expects to be "fine" following the procedure, which could be repeated if it goes well.

Christie Brinkley’s ex tries to use 15 year-old document from ex nanny against her

I followed Christie Brinkley’s rather fascinating divorce closely last year. Christie came across as a kind of neurotic power mom who worked hard to make life fun and cupcake-filled for her two youngest children. Her ex husband, Peter Cook, seemed like a royal scumbag. He was having an affair with an 18 year-old girl he hired to work at his architecture firm and was blowing thousands of dollars a month on online porn. This was Christie’s fourth marriage and all three of her children are from different husbands, so it would seem that if she’s guilty of anything it’s piss poor taste in men.

After the divorce was finalized, Cook went on 20/20 and whined to Barbara Walters that he cheated because his wife wasn’t giving him enough ego-stroking. Brinkley then filed for a restraining order to keep her children away from Cook, claiming he violated the confidentiality clause of his $2.1 million divorce settlement by going on 20/20 and by showing footage of their children, Sailor Lee, 11, and Jack, 14. (Jack is from Brinkley’s third marriage, to Richard Taubman. He was adopted by Cook.)

Nearly a year later and Cook is still trying to get back at Christie for not letting him see his kids. A 40 page affidavit from a former nanny who worked for Christie way back in 1994 when she was divorcing her second husband, Billy Joel, has come to light. Cook doesn’t exactly take responsibility for leaking the document, but it seems like he’s the one responsible.

Cook and Brinkley have officially reached a settlement, but he’s continued to charge that she’s trying to turn their children - their daughter, Sailor, and Brinkley’s son with Rick Taubman, Jack - against him.

That’s why Cook is cheered by the delivery of some fresh dirt on Christie, courtesy of Alzirene Vianna, who looked after Billy and Christie’s daughter, Alexa Ray, from June 1993 to December 1994.

In 1995, when Billy and Christie were still dealing with matrimonial issues, Vianna gave Billy’s lawyers an affidavit, which we’ve obtained.

Vianna alleges in the never-aired 40-page statement that:

“Christie never encouraged Alexa to call Billy” and told Vianna to eavesdrop on phone conversations Alexa had with Billy. When Vianna took Alexa for a visit with Billy, Christie told Vianna to let her know if Billy was drinking again. “I want you to spy for me,” Vianna quotes Christie as saying. After Christie had left Billy for handsome Colorado businessman Taubman, she was packing her bags for Telluride when Alexa, then age 8, started “acting up.” “Christie told her in a very harsh tone that if she wanted to come with her to Colorado … she would have to stop behaving like this, because she didn’t want Alexa to ruin her relationship with Ricky.” It wasn’t long before Christie and Rick were getting into arguments: “Ricky would … kick furniture and slam doors.” Once, while staying at a hotel in California, Rick wouldn’t let Christie into their room. “Christie started pounding on the door and kicking it … Rick later told Christie: ‘No wonder Billy left you; who can live with you?’” Once, while Rick was getting into a car outside their house, “Christie opened a window, threw something and said, ‘[Bleep] you, you ass-!’” People began to talk about “Christie’s addiction to prescription drugs.” Said Vianna: “I remember going to the pharmacy every day in East Hampton to get several prescriptions filled for [Christie].” Christie wouldn’t grant Alexa’s wish for Billy to come to school events. Alexa sobbed when she said goodbye to Billy after a visit and “seemed to withdraw.” Gary Smith, a spokesman for Cook, says Vianna’s tales of “parental alienation and interference … unfortunately continue to this date and come as no surprise to Mr. Cook.” Claire Mercuri, who represents Billy and Alexa, says, “These accusations are false and unfounded.” Brinkley’s lawyer, Loren Plotkin, calls Vianna a “disgruntled employee,” adding: “Christie Brinkley denies these baseless, false and malicious allegations. … One must question the motive of the individual who dredged up this document as nothing more than a shameful, transparent and ultimately fruitless attempt to hurt Christie and her family.”

Peter Cook is such a dirtbag and he’s digging up whatever he can to try and make it seem as if Christie is turning his kids against him. I don’t know what’s going on with his visitation, but he made his filthy bed and those kids belong with their mom. Even Billy Joel and Alexa deny this story by a nanny who worked for them for all of 18 months. It’s telling that this 15 year-old document is the best dirt that Cook can dig up on Brinkley, because even if all these claims are true they’re not that damning.
